Looking for a weekend alternative to morning cartoons? Bring your kids down to Little Five Points for Fly-By Theatre’s Just For Kids performance, where kids can get a little exercise while experiencing the arts.
Just For Kids is a performance and workshop for kids. Conducted by Amanda Exley Lower, artistic director of Duende Dance Theater, kids learn to appreciate and understand dance through interaction directly with professional dancers. After the kids watch a short dance piece, this program provides participatory activities for kids to create their own dances. No previous dance training is required to participate in this energetic workshop.
This is a terrific opportunity to introduce children to the performing arts. The performance and workshop lasts one and a half hours.
