This fundraising event invites you to take a wine flight with our Board of Directors. The wine flight consists of six unique and affordable wines (light dry whites to full-bodied reds) from around the world. Our sommelier provides a wine flight that is perfect for a wine connoisseur or a novice. Don’t appreciate a wine just because you are “supposed” to. “Explore your own taste” is our motto in wine tasting.
In this private setting, we offer friendship, relaxation and entertainment. We provide a casual atmosphere where you can explore tastes from around the world and not worry if you can’t smell the cardamom or can’t taste the grass. If you like it, have another glass, if you don’t, move on to the next wine. Part of the joy of tasting is “when you find a wine you REALLY like and it’s under $20.”
While sipping wines and chatting with friends, Fly-By also creates a short performance around you, showcasing our talent for the upcoming season. Afterwards, meet the artists. You’ll be amazed at what these performers can do.
Our last Wine Flight was April 18, 2009. You can see pictures from that event below. We haven’t scheduled the next wine tasting event yet, but if you would like to be added to the guest list, please email flybytheatre
