Fly-By Theatre finishes its first production of the 2003 season, OLD TIMES.

Fly-By Theatre announces its first season as an Atlanta based Company
Fly-By Theatre has completed its move from Minneapolis, MN and announces its first season as an Atlanta based company. Pam Joyce, Artistic Director and founder of Flyby Theatre, promises this season will offer a different theatrical experience to metro Atlanta audiences because "simply put: no one is doing what we do; no one is continually putting the emphasis of the theatrical experience on the body rather than the text which is why we felt the need to start a company. We treat the body and the text as equal contributors to the meaning of the play," says Joyce. Fly-By's shows are short, provocative, visually stunning, and poetic pieces of theatre. The season will offer plays that are not only contemporary in theme, but also contemporary in form, which holds true to the company's claim of being Atlanta's only physical theatre company. There are three plays in the company's season whose list of events include, OLD TIMES, Flight 501(c)(3): A Gala in First Class, Summer Theatre Classes, ON THE FLY, and THE MAIDS.
